About Us
Boat Shine,LLP is owned and operated by Jill and Tim Crawshaw. They are live aboards working toward a cruising life style. Like most cruisers, their goal is to head south to the islands during the winter months.
On a more personal note, Jill is originally from Pennsylvania. She has been an artist for over 10 years. Jill was introduced to boating by her husband in 2005.
Tim is originally from New Jersey but grew up all over the East coast from New Hampshire to Florida. He has been a Subaru Technician for 15 years. Tim has been boating since he was a child.
They bought their first boat together is 2005. It was a 35' Ericson sailboat. After sailing around North East, MD for 2 years they decided to sell everything they owned and move on board a larger boat. In 2007 they bought a 44' Island Packet and currently live in Annapolis, MD.
The idea for Boat Shine got started after several people approached Tim and Jill about detailing while they were working on their Ericson in the boat yard. Two years later the same thing happened while working on their Island Packet. Boat Shine officially opened for business shortly after that.
